The Project

The Gray’s Harbor Vesta Bridge Replacement Project aimed to reconstruct the Vesta Bridge on North River Road.

The Solution

This project included drilling and installation of three 9ft diameter shafts ranging 6065 ft indepth, and four 5ft shafts, 50ft in depth, for a new vehicle bridge. Soils included silty fine sands and hard siltstone.

The Result

The replacement of Vesta Bridge significantly improved transportation infrastructure, enhancing community connectivity and safety. It also offered cost savings, with the project completed at a lower cost than the engineer’s initial estimate.​
