We have successfully estimated, managed and constructed over $200 Million in ground improvement, foundation and shoring projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, and Hawaii. We service a variety of industries including:

Soil Nails

Soil nail wall systems use an array of small diameter (typically 6") grouted threadbars to stitch together a soil mass and allow for a vertical excavation. Coupled with a temporary or permanent shotcrete facing, they can be a highly efficient shoring system. They work well in a variety of soil conditions and with the addition of vertical elements, can be utilized in marginally unstable soils.

Our capabilities include:

  • Permanent and temporary soil nail walls.
  • Limited access site conditions.
  • Use of excavator mounted or dedicated reach drill rigs.
  • Cased and encased soil nails.
  • Use of hollow core soil nails.
  • Use of top hammers and down the hole hammers in rock.
  • Shotcrete facing, both permanent and temporary.
  • Pressure and post grouting.
  • Carved shotcrete permanent facing.
