The Bauer BV1500 Oscillator was designed to work with a variety of Bauer vertical drill rigs, both powered and operated by the rig rather than a separate power pack and control unit. It is ideal for casing advancement and extracting for shaft diameters ranging form 30 to 60 inches.
By their sturdy and compact construction, the hydraulic casing oscillators of the BV series are designed to be used as front-end attachment to rotary drilling rigs.
When mounted to the undercarriage of a rotary drilling rig, the full torque of the casing oscillator can be transferred to the casing string and the weight of the drilling rig can be activated as a reaction force to the vertical forces generated during installation of the drill casing.
Exact setting-up over the pile position is achieved by adjustment of the relative horizontal position between casing oscillator and drilling rig. Mounting the casing oscillator with positive locking to different types of undercarriage is achieved by type-specific adapter units. The hydraulic power supply is provided by the on-board hydraulic system of the drilling rig. As an alternative, the casing oscillator can also be powered by an external hydraulic power pack and operated by remote control independently from the drilling rig.
The multi-link clamping collar ensures a positive-fit and form specific transfer of all forces to the drill casing by uniform surface pressure. The casing oscillator can easily be adapted on site for use with smaller casing diameters by appropriate sets of inserts.
