Building the future

The Project

This Data Center project involved Pacific Foundation providing a huge scope of services, delivering cost and time efficiencies for the client.

The Solution

Pacific Foundation executed design-build shoring, soldier piles, tieback anchors, secant walls, and advanced drilling for the NDA Data Center project.

The Result

High-quality foundation work ensures structural integrity, longevity, and safety for the NDA Data Center, thereby promoting operational efficiency and reducing maintenance costs for the client.

Objective

Pacific Foundation was chosen as the exclusive drilling contractor for an extensive expansion project, which incorporated nearly 100,000 square feet of custom, temporary shoring, the installation of approximately 600 soldier piles, and 750 tieback anchors, all executed within a tight timeline. We swiftly and efficiently adapted to project needs, often designing and installing piles within a week of award to uphold the critical schedule.

Our work scope also encompassed designing and creating a complex braced shoring system with numerous walers and struts. We engineered a bridge that could support the transit of multiple cranes and construction vehicles, secant pile walls, low-clearance micropiles, and a dewatering system. Cathodic protection wells and large diameter jackshafts were also part of the project.

The variety of drill rigs employed on this project underscores our versatility and ability to adapt to the task at hand. These included the Bauer B55, BG25, BG24, Klemm 805 and 806, Hutte 605s, Comacchio MC4D and MC8D, TEI HEM 560, and Bauer MC96 crane.
