Pacific Foundation participated in the $210 million seismic upgrade expansion project of Legacy Hospital, fostering advancement in healthcare facilities.
The Solution
Utilizing low overhead drill rigs, we installed 35 micropiles and 211 CFA piles, strengthening the structure’s foundation significantly.

Objective
As a trusted partner in the Legacy Hospital expansion project, Pacific Foundation demonstrated our expertise in delivering customized geotechnical solutions for complex construction needs. Our team successfully installed 35 micropiles using low overhead drill rigs, showcasing our ability to adapt to spatially challenging scenarios. In addition, we installed 211 Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piles, achieving depths up to 57 feet, further strengthening the structure’s foundation. These advanced geotechnical techniques not only fortified the existing structure but also set industry standards for seismic resilience in healthcare facilities, underscoring our commitment to supporting critical infrastructure.
