The Project

Hilton Grand Vacations Ka Haku Tower: Upscale high-rise project at Hilton Hawaiian Village, delivering luxurious vacation experiences.



The Solution

The existing underground structures and inclusions required an innovative bottom seal solution and seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders



The Result

This first of it’s kind project was successfully excavated in 2023, allowing the project to move forward with the original vision by architects and site planners.

Objective

Located in the center of Waikiki, Ka Haku puts guests within walking distance to everything that makes Waikiki extraordinary including distinctive dining, world-class shopping, captivating culture and the legendary Waikiki Beach. Amenities will include an arrivals/departures lounge, bar area, business center and fitness center, make Ka Haku the perfect home base for exploring the most famous tropical paradise.

For this first-of-it’s kind project, Kelikai-Pacific JV engineered a CDSM bottom seal solution to allow site engineers to build below the water table. This was an incredibly challenging project that required total committment and teamwork from the general contractor, Nordic PCL, and the Kelikai-Pacific JV teams.
